The old buy vs. build debate rears it's ugly head again!

I think that pricing is the only way out of this conundrum. My first WAG would be to price a moderately complex product geared towards developers at the equivalent of one-day's pay. Anyone who has been in the industry for a while and has had at least *some* contact with the business side of things will recognize the value that this offers.

That way you're able to say : "Sure, you probably *could* write something that does this, but what else do you need to get done during that same time? Wouldn't you rather get 2 things done today and look like a hero?"

Also - thumbs-up for offering a command-line version. That way it can be run from both NAnt and MSBuild.
