Just as an FYI which is on-topic with this article and .Net...

I have modified Malcolm Crowe's .Net WordNet port over the last year or so and have successfully got it to work with the WordNet 2.1 database and fixed up all the original bugs and added missing relation searches.

I have released (with Malcolm's permission) my modification of the port to LGPL so the .Net community can expand on the library and use the existing fully functional resource. See http://opensource.ebswift.com/WordNet.Net/ for more info. I have setup forums, a wiki, bugtracker and a subversion repository to support the project.
