Walking Monkey

I saw this news story in yahoo about a monkey that walks upright like a human.  I could not resist posting it in my blog. It appears that we aren't as different from monkeys as we may have thought.

Comments

Yeah, I saw this earlier.

I think my favorite thing about the story is that they think it is the result of brain damage.

Whew. If it weren't for that brain damage, we humans might not be upright today!

:)

That's nothing, take a look at Humanzee ( http://www.rotten.com/library/cryptozoology/humanzee/ ). They had a special on him a few months back on the Discovery Channel.

If you run in the similar circles that I do, you would not have thought that we are any different from monkeys. :)

Also got me thinking...are we one day going to be competing with apes in addition to the expected robot wars? See I-Robot vs. I-Pod vs. I-Monkey (http://1-2-baked.blogspot.com/2004/08/i-robot-vs-i-pod-vs-i-monkey.html)
