INTJ at Microsoft

I am an INTJ.

Chris Sells recently reported that he was an ENTJ. Then other Microsoft and other technology bloggers came out to report that were ENTJs.

Then someone had the nerve to speculate that everyone at Microsoft is an ENTJ.
However, in fact, I think there might be more INTJs than ENTJs at Microsoft, particularly in the realm of programming. Remember, this is a company with lots of introverted nerds. Guess what, who is more likely to blog anyway, the I's or the E's.

You will find few xxFxs (feelers rather than thinkers) at Microsoft. I think that interviewers like to find people who can think logically. Also, even if you are a natural feeler, prolonged, intense exposure to computers and technology can move you towards being a thinker. That's what happen to my wife when she went to Microsoft, and transformed from a passionate feeler into a sedated thinker.

So - you are the bright future of the NTJ Corp. (where the rest is made up of STJ Goons...?)
Ever wondered why other Software Corps use NTP:s and even F:s? I'll tell you the symptoms - and you can exercise your Intuition to find the reasons...

*there are no critical non-patchable bugs in Netscape.
*Mac users love their computers...
*SMS2003 software-distribution is based on CA products...
*Anything important run on Unix/Linux

But the loyal, dutiful and productive NTJ:s made Software inferiority great and global!
